Spraying front and rear valances black

I ve started on the rear badge now, started buy taking the badge off used dental floss and the works heat gun to aid me in taking it off. shame its made the boot clean now  may have to do the rest.

Then striped it to the two main parts sanded and sprayed with primmer.







The rubber part should be fun to re fit. . . may just knock one up at work

Done ! not great pics but well do till I get a sharan badge, well get a pic with it on the car as well.
I re-used the rubber which goes round the outer edge which was fun to put back on, didn’t use lacquer on the back part so the VW were different not 100% about it well see how it goes.




Front and back valances next, Just need good weather.

Not fitted flush at the top and i buts gone under it self so may take off and re-mount tomorrow.
But i like it, looks the sex! Well at least till i get my sharan.

Also what do people think about colouring the I in TDi on the black black as well? leave it red or do it black ?

Looks good mate, looks like you did a good job with the spraying. I prefer the candy white badges on black golfs tho. It looks awesome!

when i get it lowered going to do something a bit different with them i think, like vinyl warp them at work in something bright or just spray inside the VW on the front, seen someone on here with a black golf with the inside sprayed red looks very nice.
