Mk3 Indicator Relocation

Afternoon all..

I am sure someone must have done this before... i want to put my indicators into the headlights so i can completly smooth in my front bumper.

anybody know how this could be done?

other than using mk4 style headlights...
im sure i heard that you just drill a hole in the them, but i could be wrong..
or was i thinking of the run lights in the indicators?? lol

Lol, i got the MK4 style headlights.. and i drilled a hole into one of them (that was the biggest pain in the arse in the world!!!!)  :smiley:

But obviously the bulbs that are in the front are massive.. i bought some of the smaller bulbs and the little converter that plugs in.. but it flashes really fast so i gave up! lol

that means its the wrong wattage doesnt it??
i'd wait to see what other advice, i just wing it with electrics, lol

I would assume that is correct.. as the bulb is alot smaller using alot less power so.. yeah..

maybe the trick is finding the right bulb... but that may be a task in itself!
cant remember who has done it on here!!

if the only prob is the wrong wattage bulb you should be able to wire a resistor in series to sort that out@?

I would guess the problem is the headlamps are not designed to do what you did.

How have you wired them.
