19" Gloss Black Boring Silver wheels

Silver, even YOU say the normal wheels are boring!

I appreciate the value in consulting others' opinions, but f*ck 'em, it's YOUR car!

RISING BLUE + GLOSS BLACK 19", FOR THE WIN..............!!!!!!!!!!!!
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Even though I usually only play FTW, on this occasion I'm going to play it safe and follow the angry mob.

There's nothing stopping me getting some BBS CH Black Editions after I've got the car.

For some reason, now I just can't get the image of lots our forum members waiting outside your dealership when you pick up the car with pitchforks and torches.

I've given up chasing - it won't make it any quicker. Dealer has promised to call once it's confirmed.

EDIT: Then, I thought, give 'em a ring. What harm can it do? Wish I hadn't.

This thread is now officially dead - see my sig below.

Thanks for all your feedback - good and bad. I think we can safely conclude that the subject divides opinion.

You have made the right choice.

Whats happened?  Has your BW moved again?  I thought you could make as many changes as you like before the BW was confirmed?

Can't be arsed to read back through 7 pages to see if this has been posted before, however here's a link showing two blue Rs on the road, one with black and one with silver alloys.
They both look great.

Both do look good - but I still prefer the silver against the rising blue.  Nice clip!
