Indicators havew died!
« on: 14 January 2010, 08:44 »
Some of you may remember i lost my keys, so heres the rest of he story......

I had to buy a new ignition barrel and obviously to fit it I had to remove the steering wheel, indicator, window wiper and hazard light switch. after re asbleing it all I ended up breaking the hazard light switch, What I want to know is, is the indicator circuit wired through that hazard switch? when i go to turn the indicator on left the dashboard warning light stays constantly illuminated and then when you just have it in a neutral position the warning light is just on but very dull.

I think you can get aftermarket tho, try givin veew services a bell:

edit: if you have good scrappies local MK3 stalks have the same hazzard switch, just have to strip it off the stalks then swap the big hazzard button for the mk2 square one

My indicators are doing the exact same thing :( I haven't had a chance to properly poke it - but I've got a pre-90 hazard setup.
