My question is, do you honestly think cars like that mk4 and mk5 golf will be a future classic in 20 years time? I really can't picture it. "Oh! A mk4 golf gti! I had one of them in my twenties.. not many around now though.."

 of course they will, unless the government has us crush them all for not being powered by electricity. Any car with a cult following will become a classic after 20 years or so.

What do you reckon? Do you think the era of the classic car will forever be those from the 80s and older?

I'm guessing you are younger than 25.

Other 911's are desirable but can you really see the new RS with its pink stickers and huge wheels being sought after in 40 years time, I certainly can't.

Yes. Definitely. Not like there's tens of thousands of them around, is it. And it is one of the fastest, most capable and thrilling 911's of its time, is it not?

Well they reckon the ford ka will be a classic, so the mk4 could be (although I'm biased...)

True it is a rare car and no doubt it is epic to drive. No doubt if I got to drive one I want to sell my first born to get one. I guess it is very subjective.

My mum had a SportKa for a couple of years awesome car to drive, great fun.

I think some of the specials will do i.e the Annis etc and others like the Impreza RB320, cars with limited build runs!
MK4 GTI T AGU, REVO Remap, BMC carbon box, Miltek cat back, Forge diverter valve, THS FR3 engine/Gbox mounts, Some random alloys, lowered on coilovers.
192bhp 212lbft torque.

I think saxo VTS will be a classic, kinda like the 205 GTI is now.
R32's, definitely, especially the mk4.
MK3 VR6 for sure, and the golf R will be to I reckon.

Don't think so on as big scale as the MK1's & 2's.

Not even the MK3's I don't think, the mass increase in manufaction will limit it a lot I think.
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....
