The mobridge for VW CanBus is new, so I doubt you'll find many (if any) users. Cartronics aren't far from me so I'm going to see if I can arrange a demo next week.

Great!! Be interested to hear how good it is

ask them if it is possible to add another digit to the call number you have dialed  ie:- a lot of companys now once you have got through to them request you to press another number to get through to the required Dept, would be interested whether or not this is possible with this unit ??

Do you guys think it would be easy to swap the VW "Premium bluetooth" out for a MoBridge unit ?
Im guessing both are Canbus and maybe it can use the factory mic etc...

From what I read of the mobridge manual it states the same functionality as the VW equipment.

Phone compatibility matrix http://www.mobridge-ipod.co.uk/docs/mObridgeCompatibilityMatrix.pdf

Manual here http://www.mobridge-ipod.co.uk/_imgStoreVirt/resources/mObridge_BT_VW_Manual_V5.pdf

It states on page 5(pdf) or 6 of the manual numbers "The functionality provided by mObridge is identical to the factory telephone for the RNS-510 and RCD-510. You can refer to the respective user manual for your RNS-510 or RCD-510 for further information." so I would assume it uses the factory mic, it looks like a T connctor in the wiring so that it connects behind the radio. There is also a bypass switch which you can set it to when VW scan the car so that it just passes the signals straight to the radio otherwise it flags and error trying to talk to the radio.

Good info,
I'd be in but will not be able to commit until I see my car.
I reckon I'll be looking for a deal in March.
good luck with filling in the other places.
Am looking forward to reading your review.
