ISO connector?
« on: 03 January 2010, 12:23 »
Hi all,

I'm thinking of bidding on a used Pioneer FH-P80BT on eBay. It doesn't come with wiring loom and just wondering if somebody can advise of the correct one I would need for my 2001 Golf GT TDi.

The installation manual says:
The pin position of the ISO
connector will differ depends on
the type of vehicle. Connect 6*
and 7* when Pin 5 is an antenna
control type. In another type of
vehicle, never connect 6* and 7*.

http://docs.pioneer.eu/Manuals/FH_P80BT_CZR5522_installation_manual/

If somebody could send me the link to the correct one that would be great.

Cheers,

Mike

if the stereo has the pioneer ocoming out of the stereo then you do not need an iso adapter
you will however need an aerial booster as the radio reception will be rubbish without it
