My only dispute is that he is sayin that he was drivin wen he clearly was not-obviously 
it is my word against theirs but if it comes to the crunch,i will endeavour to find the witnesses.
As for a claim,i dont recall me sayin i intended too,simply that i was suffering from a sore neck.N if it were the taxpayers,then i am one of them myself,so?!

i'm not having a go at you about the claim thing - i'm having a go at the people who seem to think you have a claim and how you should cheat the system. if you are hurt, then you have rights - go claim them. but if you're not thank yourself lucky.
as for the bit about who was driving - don't think you stand a chance on that one. your insurance is going to pay out regardless unfortunately. for what its worth - you got dealt a bad hand, made a mistake, move on, thats life.
