Hi, please can someone help me with two questions:

- how to remove the front spot lights (set within the front bumper)
- is it possible to replace the spots with air intake style vents?

Many thanks,

Simon

Are you referring to the section where the indicator and fog lamps are?

If so, put a flat headed screwdriver between the fog light and the reflector, and carefully prise the reflector out, this will reveal two screws for the fog light, unscrew the two screws and pull the fog light out towards you, then disconnect the wiring. Repeat for the other side.

As for the air intakes, I've only ever seen them a couple of times, they're quite hard to get hold of!

No, his ones go at the bottom of the bumper (underneath the indicators)

The OP wants the intakes that replace the fogs

nothing a bit of 2x4 and some rusty nails wont cure!

i would proably make my own out of cold air intake tube (they sell it at my local motorfactors, apparently its different from normal tube !!) and some mesh or something!?

You can make a half decent cold air intake from the existing fog light unit.

If you take the fog light out, then take the lens and bulb unit off you will then be able to see you can remove most of the internal plastic which will leave you with a decent size squarish hole. Tody it all up, paint it to match your bumper, add mesh if you want to and attach some ducting to the rear.

Then you have a free cold air vent which fits the car and has cost you some time and a bit of paint.
