hmmm going to those lengths means one of 2 things. it's either the shell looks like it just came out the factory and is too good to leave behind OR you're a whippersnapper who can't afford the insurance doing it the legal route  :lipsrsealed: :lipsrsealed:

lol well none of those reasons. maybe just someone who enjoys working on cars and got a good deal on the parts. do you have any mechanical vdub knowledge or are you just gunna keep on telling me what you think

Best gearbox to use would be the 02a Mk3 16v gearbox. You don't need to convert to hydraulic and can convert the box to cable clutch quite easily by using the cable clutch components from the Ibiza.
You should be able to find the info in the garage section, it has been discussed in detail in there.
