changing the battery
« on: 19 December 2009, 12:22 »
i was under the impression that if the battery is removed ill need to put the radio code in after.

ive just replaced my battery a couple of hours ago and was worried since i dont have the code.
after connecting the terminals i tried the radio and it said 'safe' then showed '1000' on the display.

after 1minute the radio came back on and works.
was i just lucky?

if you have the oem factory fitted unit then no code will be needed if the battery is disconnected at anytime
