Used to be able to get a special lock de-icer, small can with a thin tube to push in the locks, will enquire next time I'm at the local VAG parts dept (picking up belts and G12+)...
ATM used WD40 but still froze overnight... had the Dead-lock issue at the folks last night took a few attempts to get in.. also suffered the frozen pin on passenger side, the other half had to travel back in the back with the baby (5-ddors!)
Try the old-skool (air-cooled) trick of smearing the door rubbers with some Vaselene see if that helps with sticking doors...
My boot lock seems not to have the little metal cover on it and is full of cr@p (washed a load out with WD last night) and this means I can't get a key all the way in it...

Could this have come off or is it more likely just stuck in the open position?
Anyone got a guide to removing the locks (doors and boot) so I can give them a good greasing?
