Nick please read
« on: 28 November 2009, 22:38 »
hi im new to the forum and this is my first post so hello everyone lol

nick i came to you last month and had the gen 4 map skoda octy vrs reg B^ VRS

it only made 211 so was down a bit and i have now replaced the bits you said. it now has a new n75 old one was broken. new dv 007p with yellow spring and the lower boost pipes have been changed.

would it be poss to bring the car back to you for a re run on the rollers and some tweaks to the map to get a wee bit more. ( only use super unleaded fuel) would the 15th be a good day.

as im in reading so need to organise this as its a bit of a treck lol

if this is a good day how much extra is this going to cost me??

all the best and so far well pleased great map nick

Your mate in the yellow octavia came back today for his map. Exact same one that i loaded on to yours and he made 225bhp, so there's your target

i must say since i did the other bits it really does feel good but i just want to see the figure on the rr as before i thought it pulled well and only made 200 before your map....

it will also confirm that i found the mechanical fault if i havent its back to the drawing board lol

is there much more to be gained from a play with the map if it is running right?

Hello M8!

Welcome to the forum,

On the 15th there is Hulmies AGU booked in the diary for a ko3s turbo conversion and custom mapping session. There is a question mark next to his booking slot as he need to comfirm it next week.  PM me your number and I wil give you a call, if I can get to use another ramp to fit the turbo then yes you can come down and play.  There is lots of room to play with your current map as its a strong spec1 we have been working on, its more like stage 1.5. I am sure we can give you even more power what will make you grin even more..lol  The gen 4 map is on Chris car now as a beta spec2 version, a lot of work gone on the lambda and and timing maps not the boost or load
Chris is testing the car to make sure the way we have mapped the fuel dont have a really back effect on the MPG. but he drives flat footed everywhere so the MPG results are pants at the momnet...

The guy with the yellow octy (sorry forgot his name) went away happy today, from a stock power of 197bhp to 225bhp 250lbft, teething issues with compressor surge do to to much pre load on the waste gate one turn back of the nut and now at 19/20psi, very nice and linear curve as it should be.

You should seeing more of us on Briskoda soon, The owner has said we can become a sponsor..lol  and lift my ban from Fatty500.

Nick
