The thing is, he hasn't actually manufactured these yet. He wants to know that there is demand for these bulbs before putting them in production. It's likely to cost sub £20 like many of his other bulbs.

Here are the images of his H7 bulbs on a Honda Civic.

Me too. Can I suggest you start a Group Buy thread to get more attention. I'm sure you'll get dozens of takers.

Would love to start one, but not sure this qualifies as a genuine group buy, since we're initially gathering interest. Unless an moderator begs to differ.

I thought I'd come and throw a spanner in the works by mentioning that the H15 was designed by Osram and is one of their 'Snapinlite' range of products, which I believe are either patented, trademarked or otherwise protected. That's why you don't see any equivalents from Philips, etc.

http://www.osram.com/osram_com/News/Trade_Press/Automotive_Lighting/2009/090807_SNAPINLITE.html

I know that won't stop one of the Chinese manufacturers banging out counterfeits by the boat load but I wouldn't want to be caught selling them in the UK/Europe...

I think you'll have to wait until Osram decide to market a 'cool blue' H15 themselves, unless you can find someone who can apply the special blue dichroic coating to existing bulbs.

EDIT: forgot to mention that applying the dichroic coating involves something called vacuum deposition, which is a bit more complicated than using a paint brush or some sticky vinyl...  :nerd:

Over on a German forum, there is a post about some Osram H15 60/19W bulbs, as per pic below. They seem to be a lot whiter?

Are the normal bulbs not H15 55/15w?

Is that what that post that was the start of the thread used then?

I can't believe that this still hasn't got sorted aftermarket.

There are shed loads of golfs out there with dirty yellow DRL's, and I think the Seat Leon uses the same lamp?

I'd be interested in anything, other than standard.
