Who in the right mind would want a f*****g fiesta sanitary towel anyways? Looks a right piece of s**t.

I personally hate Ford cars think it goes back to the late 60's early 70's when we had Ford cars, me and my brother had to sit in the back of these tin cans on fake leather seats in shorts with our a***s stuck to the hot seats, course those were the halcyon days of childhood when the sun shone every day!!!! not!

These days Fords are definitely better built but still look b****y awful, especially that ugly creature they call the RS!!!

Give me a Golf anyday, looks and class.

One big happy family...   :lipsrsealed:
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

try to beat something a little harder Kev; even i can beat those

I was in two minds, I didnt want to hammer the car at all, but thought feck it. i was still holding back a bit though as it was wet but still did him no prob, esp when hit 3rd, 4th and 5th gears.

lol I'm like i.e. can I be bothered; all depends if they're driving like an idiot behind me

problem with those ST's is they got fook all torque

Was nippy though I thought, going into and out of the roundabouts he was in front, but once we hit a long straight it was no contest, thats when I thought why did he even bother.

Cause it's easy to go fast in a straight line. I used to love mullering fast cars in my mini

Very true. For some its all about straight line speed. Give me something that can take corners anyday... usually much more fun too.

Just for reference, I was driving a GTI, not a truck. He was not pulling away at corners, there's no where for me to pass. What I found nippy about his car is the way he went in and out of them, no-where did I say he was faster and at no point did I say it's all about straight line speed.

I swear to god some people are just pricks.

Oh silly me... how would i know how a gti handles.

What makes you think i was refering to you??

Doesn't sound cool does it, saying that you beat a Ford Fiesta.  Images of the old Mk1 come to mind for some reason when I think about Fiestas.

Beating a Focus ST or RS sounds more impressive.

I personally hate Ford cars think it goes back to the late 60's early 70's when we had Ford cars...

Point 1 - a 21 year old with more money than sense and wants something different and 'stealthy because everyone thinks Fezza ST's are pants.

Point 2 - old skool Fords rocked.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Only Ford I ever liked and its still the same to this day is the Cosworth. That was class.

Escort or Sierra? Quick cars, but don't think either can be associated with class though.

For the money the Fezza ST is not a bad car.

Nice interior:

and looks good and agressive on the road:

Seeing as it cost nearly half what you pay for a GTI it's a good car. Put it up against the Polo GTI and it doesn't look quite so good but it was still a fair bit cheaper.

And I would be careful about build quality accusations. The number of posts on here about squeeks, leaks and dodgy paint are quite shocking not to mention miss builds etc.
