has anyone got a build date for the golf R yet?

Don't know how you got a confirmed build date that late they normally only confirm them 4 to 5 weeks before the build week itself. Mines build week 4 and mines not been locked/confirmed yet.

I'm just going by what the dealer told me... I know naaaathing!!

I orded my Golf R early December, order as been accepted but no build date, dealer told me I will have to wait till May.

Very nice!  Too many doors for me though.  I can't help thinking the 'normal' lighting of those photos makes the Rising Blue colour considerably darker than in the press photos.  Photoshop a black wheel onto the rear of photo 6 - and you'll see what it would really look like.

Looks like they've made the boot floor higher than the R32?  I did only have a 2 minute look in an R32 when the dealer was trying to explain the boot difference though - so I could be speaking sh1te! 
I'm sure the width will be the same as every other Golf though - just big enough for Golf Clubs without the driver in!
