No - said March, probably late March. Echoed the comments on here that build dates are only being given out very close to build time at the moment.

They've got confirmed orders for 3 Golf Rs and 1 Scirocco R.

One of the Scirocco R boys has got unconfirmed BW02:

Probably doesn't have that much bearing on expected BWs for the Golf R as they're made in different factories (i.e. Wolfsburg for Golf, Portugal for Scirocco).

He he... he's just being slack. Commission number will probably come in an email from the Admin dept and he's too busy selling cars to check his email!

I would call VW Customer Services to give him a kick! :laugh:

Rang VW Customer Services - was on hold for 15 minutes, but it's 0800 so counts as discount. :evil:

Cars to be built early Jan 2010 and delivered to customers Mar 2010.
All unconfirmed at the moment.

I called too... although it felt like much more than 20 mins!  The guy took my name and dealer name - and returned a couple of minutes later to tell me I had a commission number  :cool:
He then said the production should commence at the start of 2010 - with the cars being delivered in the first quarter.
I said - 1st March then?  He replied - thats what we're aiming for.
I'm in Canada snowboarding from the 24th Feb to the 8th March anyway - so I don't mind if its slightly late!!

Dealers don't care!  They've probably got the comission on your sale already, so don't feel the need to keep you up to date.
Phone VW yourself - they'll tell you if its a yes or no!
