yes but not a used demo, they have pre reg ones also you can find unregistered ones but they are harder to find

That'll be good going considering they're unlikely to arrive in the UK (apart from a LHD one for the press to test) until at least March.
Cars are built to order, and dealers will only be able to put in customer orders - which means there will be no pre-regged cars lying about.  Apparently there will be no demostrators either.

I admire your optimism though!

they said there was only 400 mk5 r32 coming to the uk on first year of production also dealers would not be able to sell demos etc but i was one of the first with mk5 r32 which i brought on release, same with mk6 gti, i got one the day after offical release date

Maybe that will be the case with the R too... but I still think getting one in January will be a miracle!

Hold off till Nov 2011.
Then buy one in December.
The Mk7 will hammer the price right down.

Thats my thinking too.

They did the same with the mk5 R32, and if the mk7 is out so soon the mk6 won't look that old like when the mk6 came out to the mk5.
