Called the dealer this afternoon - no news!
He said he hasn't heard any confirmations of Golf or Roc R's - but hopes to have some information soon.

Mmm maybe I should cancel the order for our GTI and go for an R.

I'm only basing that on the fact that by the time the GTi arrives, I could afford the R.
