When you say it's rough in the morning, what do you mean by rough exactly?
Mine when first started in the morning, sort of judders in bursts of about 5-8 seconds when cold, and I can hear a very feint knocking noise when it's juddering.
Is it something like this? If so then I gots meself a problem aswell :(

To be honest i've been hoping it is normal.
It's been like this since i've had the car about 3 months or so.

I had the same sort of car before this for about a month and that was also sort of like this, so i'm hoping it's a characteristic thing as the vw technicians always say lol.

Ok cool, I was thinking I was just unlucky to have the noise in both cars.

So these dervs can make all sorts of noises but just as long as they go away when the engine is upto temp things are probably ok then?

Right i'm gonna do the same, if the noise persists when the car is upto temp then i'm gonna get it looked into from now on.

I think I stress myself out too much with noises on the car.
