Just off the phone to my dealer again... still no change... I'm most unhappy........
I was told there is a delay on RNS-310s if anyone has ordered one of those, but not me, so its not that, that is holding mine up. I've asked them to find out exactly what part it is that is delaying my car, and they are going to come back to me within about 48 hours with that info so I can see if removing an option might speed things up. But I'm not holding my breath.
I was told however about the 20 week = hire car thing (offered the information rather than asking about it) and it was suggested that process was instigated when 20 weeks is reached.
My spec, again, is >
| GTi 5dr DSG | One of those delivered in my order month and two unconfirmed earlier than mine |
| Shadow Blue | I'd consider a colour change? |
| Winter Pack | A pretty regularly taken option I'm lead to believe |
| Parking Sensors | Again, quite regular |
| RCD510 with Dynaudio | Less regular, but no indications this might be a hold up? |
| DAB Radio | Starting to tend on the rarer side, could it be this? |
Any ideas? Has anyone with a long delay tried arguing for some freebies and had any luck?
