Sign up to www.photobucket.com and upload your photos there.  Click on the photo, and down the side will be a box that says 'share this image'.  Click on the one that says 'IMG Code' and it will copy the link.  Put the cursor where you want to post the pic in your thread and hold CTRL and press V on your keyboard to paste the link.  It should look like [I M G] XXXXX [/I M G]

Hi All,

Obviously too much time on my hands waiting for my car, so I made the table below. I've been very cheeky and thrown away some "unimportant" information from the list to try to make it as simple as possible to follow. I've also checked against the appropriate usernames to see if they've posted anything to suggest they have their car but didn't update this thread. I'll happily recieve any further updates and put them into the table. Comments welcomed!

I ordered my carbon grey 3 dr DSG Gti on 7 Dec 2009  -  BW was 8  -  been sitting in the port at Emden for 2 weeks (if still there)  -  was still there Wednesday 17 March. My dealer has been very proactive, though. If I get the car in the next week or so, I'll have nothing to complain about when compared to other members of the forum.

Thanks, James  -  just heard from dealer that status is 'on ship' and that he hopes to get notification overnight Wednesday that the car has 'landed'  -  if he gets that notification, does that mean delivery next week or can it take a substantial time to get from Tyne Dock to dealership and then prepared for collection?

Ordered 28/10/2009. BW07 confirmed. production complete 10/02/2010. Arrived at dealers 17/02/2010. Driving on a 10 plate 01/03/2010.

enjoying the new car? I wasn't brave enough to get the car in candy white  -  gone for the safer carbon grey  - it's an age thing....43  -  if I was having a full-on mid-life crisis, I'd have wanted it in bright yellow!
