my car arived uk yesterday i think
and have just had some papers through the post to sign with the cars reg on them
so i gues its registerd now shouldent be long  :smiley:

Just thought I'd add that I just spoke to my dealer and my car is still unconfirmed, even though serveral before and after my order date have all gone confirmed. The dealer said they are aware of this sort of thing happening and are pressuring manufacturing... we'll see....... :(

It's great if you deal with a good salesmen , think I can count with one finger a good salesmen I have met in buying cars over the past 30 years. They tell you what you want to hear but in the most part it's not backed up with facts. I keep asking the salesman I am dealing with if he can look up my build date. All I ever get is on course for mid April. To be honest I am not bothering too much as long as I have it for June. However I work abroad doing five weeks away five weeks home and would dearly love to be home to pick up our car from the showroom. Our last two cars have been picked up by my wife while I was away.

Quick update, went to my dealer wednesday to get current car MOT'd at there expense as mine should have been here by now, the dealer checked my order and said it had started being built! check 1 whatever that is??? my build week was next week so it's started early! perhaps they are pulling their fingers out and we might start seeing a few coming through? if the shipping gets sorted :sick:
I'm hoping to get mine on the 17th april all being well............ :lipsrsealed:

PS have you decided when your picking yours up snoopy? i remember reading it's a bit of a ball ache for you to get to the dealer, actually just realised this bits in the wrong place sorry..

I've now had a message to say that my provisional build week is 19. I want to understand what's holding mine up SO much compared to others aroudn me in the list. My options are Shadow Blue metallic paint, front and rear parking sensors, RCD510 with Dynaudio, Winter Pack and DAB Radio. I'm thinking that DAB radio is the only thing I've not seen many others spec'ing, who else has ordered it? As far as I know, the DAB radio option is actually a different headunit, ie it's built into the headunit rather than an add on now. So maybe thats it?

I've added colours too, to show red=unconfirmed BW, orange=confirmed BW, green=delivered. The list seems quite out of date now, maybe a few people that have got there's could update the list?

I specced RCD510/DAB... But who knows if that's the hold up (we've had diff excuses from stereos to steering wheels!)

Quick update my car is built (BW10) & is awaiting shipment to the UK  :grin:
