That's great news bet your excited. Dealer told me mid April delivery still on.
Though I don't have my car yet I do have my excellent looking GTI car mats with GTI logo and bright red beading round the edges. Ordered then from Autostyle for sixty pounds. Good thick pile with grip on the underside and holes to fit the golf.

Good news also for me! Car built a week early dealer informs me and also awaits shipment. Car ordered 12th Sept. 2009, red 5 door GTI.

My car has now been built(week 10) and is on a ship according to the dealer and their retail sales department will call me to arrange delivery soon.
probably another couple of weeks but it's on it's way. :smiley:

You have done well as I see you ordered your car on Dec the 22d yet there are orders going back to September and October that have not been built yet.
That points to dealers taking orders even though they don't have allotments which is wrong. I went to Ingram VW in Ayr in December but they could not take my order because they had no allotments until March 2010. So I orderd from Arnold Clark which had a new allotment come December the 31st. There are some bad dealers out there.

 I orginally ordered from Ingram in Ayr and then cancelled on 22nd Dec as they couldn't get my order on the VW system before the end of the year. I then ordered via my Fleet Dept who use Stock-on-Trent VW. I was at Build week 18 unconfirmed at the beginning of last week but someone cancelled and my Car got moved into that slot and built last week. So i was lucky that it's not been too long await (although as i said i did order in october orginally !)


have too pay for it now (ouch) :grin:

Yes but it will be well worth it. Oh to zip along some twisty B road. Keep us up dated on your first drive and photos would be good aslo.

Fanters  -  mine was BW 8 and it's still at the port in Emden  -  if your car is BW 10 and is already on the ship, there can't be much order at the port  -  I do hope for your sake that your car is on its way over but I'd have some questions if it is... :shocked:
