Pioneer AVIC-F500BT Cables/Harness Advice

Hi

I am looking to buy the Pioneer AVIC-F500BT Head unit for my Golf GTI MK5 2008 model. I was wondering do i need any other cables/harnesses other than the following 2 ICT 10-504 - BMW/Mercedes/VW Quadlock and CD-V150M or CD-RM10.  I have got the factory fitted iPod dock would it be possible to use this with the Pioneer unit? Also would you be able to locate the new iPod docking in the armrest where my current setup is, if i needed to change the IPOD interface? Any advice will be appreciated.

you cannot use the factory ipod dock with the pioneer unit
the adapter you need is actually this one
