golf R prices and spec on website now!!

I've downloaded the Golf R pricelist from the VW web site - it's dated 15.06.2009 and no Golf R in it:

Holy crap! specced a 5 door R to the same as my 07 GTI 5 door and its £35 k, anyone for a nearly new BMW 335i ? honestly I would love a GTI -R but I could not order one for that much money with the other cars available at that price!

I agreee, also the Scirocco weighs 100kg less than the Golf. The Golf may be quicker off the line due to the better traction, but once rolling I think the Scirocco will be slightly quicker.

3dr Golf - 1521kg - 180bhp/ton
Scirocco - 1419kg - 189bhp/ton

Better looking, maybe slightly quicker, cheaper and better specced as standard. Both great cars but I think I'd take the Scirocco.

I notice that Park Assist is no longer listed as an option. Is this because:

(a) VW has deleted it as an option because no one is getting it
(b) it doesn't work with the R's AWD system?
(c) it is already included as a standard feature?

Here's hoping that it is (c).

Is that taking into account the 'Roco having 265bhp and the Golf having 270bhp?

On volkswagen.de it is a STANDARD funtion on the R, so its certainly not that it won't work.  Its not standard over here, as I had to pay £400 for front and rear sensors!
