What paint finish is that on the Intake and the rocker cover? looks tidy
and also, what type of tubing are you using for the piece above the throttle body etc...
Cheers
Powder coat finish, pain to keep clean if you spill anything on it, from spirit to oil, looks nice but a pain for keeping clean got some interest down prept for it as I went DIY with it.
As for the tubing I used normal Vacuum silicone (easy to bend and thicker than the standard stuff), dead on 3m's of it (think I used like 2.7~8m of it), as you replace a lot of the engine with it, from the piping to the TB, to the piping to the inlet manifold, to the vacuum reservoir, to the TIP, to the brake boost feed, which it also fits. But cannot be seen in the picture due to the aluminum tubing on top of it. Believe it was "8mm ID" which is like 3.99 a meter, but I will check the size tomorrow incase I'm wrong.
As for the piping from the DV to the fuel regulator that is 3mm ID vacuum tubing (same as above just smaller ID), 100% sure that’s the size, you will need 1 meter of it as you only use like 40cm of it on the fuel regulator, and you only use it once more somewhere else (think it was under the manifold).
As for the breather piping that was a different silicone, think it was called "coupling silicone" it comes in 3-4ply, its really thick and strong, as well as hard to bend, so buy some joints if you are going to use it, a lot more expensive too, about £9.99 for half a meter, I ended up using 1m in all, 3 of 30cm's and a 10cm piece, but this will vary on using joints and where the oil catch can is located.
If you plan on changing the silicone between the DV and SMIC pipe, then the diameter is 25mm ID, I haven’t done it yet, as I will be fitting a FMIC sooner or later. The silicone will be 25mm ID Vacuum tubing and you will only need 50cm's of it, but what I discovered is, you will need to buy a 90degree 25mm joint as its such a huge diameter it caves inwards when bent unlike the smaller diameter stuff, so a 90degree joint is a must if you are changing this, about £6.99 for 50cm's for this and another £2.99 roughly for the bend, which come in plastic or aluminum.
