Yeah the quote I got was FC. What do you guys think of car finance? A Good idea for somebody my age? Obviously if I could afford to by it outright I would!

I am 37, paying Euro600 a year for insurance, fully comprehensive... My first car was a Ford TX-3 when I was 20... I have a house now but I think getting a home is more important than a car.

I was given some advice once to buy a house you cant afford and a car you can afford to throw away.  Good advice.

I would wait until you had a foot on the property ladder before getting a really nice car, once you have a car like that you will never want to settle for a 'lesser' car.  Which may or may not have to happen if you get a car before a house and find you have to sell it to get the house...

Well the lad did ask, and we have him our opinion. Just because its not the same as yours donesnt mean your advice is any better you know.

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.
