and if you remove the arches, door trims etc your quite likely to find rust or knackered paint!! so remove them if you don't mind some paint time  :wink:

i had lots of rust when i removed mine  :sad:
have spent hours sanding.filling and painting still not really happy with them think its body shop time

If you remove the door trim you will see a large recess plus 4 holes, you will need that welded over and that will not be easy, it will be a expensive job to get it looking right.

think i'll just stick to the plastic trim yet, plastics gone bit grey so will have to find the back to black out..
the thing is, my dad used to be a mechanic back in the day and he gave the car a once over and no rust at all, so if the car does need any work doing, he's doing it whether he likes it or not..
