This mornings run to work showed the brakes to be now back to awesome status. Managed a couple of late braking dives down the inside of roundabouts and confidence in the middle peddle has been restored.

Well 2 weeks after the filter service (still to do an oil change) I can report that fuel consumption has decreased from an average of 45mpg to 62mpg. Lovely Jubbly!

Yeah not bad is it. Might well be up for sale in April due to hopefully getting an A4 1.9 TDI Avant.

Nick I sell those lifters often at work. Go genuine if anything, IIRC the aftermarket ones weren't even out there - what was if any were sh!te. Can't remeber price of a genuine one off hand now.. £60?

You mapped this yet mate? I just mapped a 1.4 3pot arosa PD TDI and It shifts.

Gets 5 more MPGs.
