clifford alarm

ive got a clifford falcon 2 alarm fitted to my golf i just got and it seems to stop the elec windows from working and i dont know why, the elec windows do work but i think the alarm may be stopping them .... any ideas people ??

You just said it stops them from working, but they do work.

Any more specific with what actually happens and when?

Might be nothing to do with the alarm, as Mike said what is happening.

when i pressed some buttons on the remote and pressed the window switch on the door they worked but now cant get em to work again , the person i got it from said it was something to do with the alarm , the car doors do all lock when u turn the key to start it or when the car is running but i just cant get the windows to open again

that is a very old alarm
are you sure it is connected to the electric windows as the falcon 2 does not have window closure built in
it may have had a window closure module fitted to it and that could be the problem as its that old it may have just given up or the 30 amp fuse to power the window module may just be blown
but regardless of that the electric windows should still work

all fuses in the main fuse box are all ok and the windows did work when i pressed some buttons on the remote but cant remember what i pressed aghhhhhhhh trued pressing buttons again and nowt happend :( im lost as electrics and alarms arnt my strong point
