Clutch peddle bitting point
« on: 18 October 2009, 09:41 »
Is there any adjustment for the height at which the clutch peddle bites, mines right at the top, i have tried adjusting the cable although only quickly.
There doesn't seem to be any slip, but i have only taken it for a blast down the road and back.

auto or manual adjust cable?

if auto its stetched and needs replacing, if manual take up the slack on the thread or replace if you cant!

id go for the manual adjusting clutch cable if it needs changing

if that doesnt work your clutch is worn out

Mines *right* at the top, with the cable adjusted as loose as possible - my clutch is definitely on its way to a better place :(

Bugger, i was thinking about this after i posted and i think i may have adjusted the wrong way and taken the slack up so will have to have another play with it when its not raining. It's a manual adjust cable by the way, i think i was just being a mong the other day
