Mods for my new gti

Hi people, i have just got my first Golf mk3 GTI. I got the car a few weeks ago and is 100% standard at the moment. I would like some info on what sort of mods i can do, i am looking to fit a full coilover set and new 17" alloys but apart from that i need ideas please!!! :wink:

use photobucket to upload pics then use the links they give you to copy and paste em on to here

Just use keywords in the search like mods or mk3 mods or specific mods that you have in mind, chances are most will have been done or talked about before. Here is a link for image and sig posting.

I am thinking of the turbo conversion route, i have read some threads and see very mixed views on this!! i understand that some custom work will be needed but see it to be worth while. I have to use of a garage where my lad works

As for wheel size, it will drive and handle bette ron 16's but if you want to compromise handling for looks, go for 17's.

Cheers, not fussed on looks more for performance with in reason, and 16" are alittle cheaper :smiley: What sort of ride heigth is best for fast road use??
