There was no way i would have got that downpipe off the car on the driveway!
I've just had the downpipe changed, o/s ball joint replaced and both track rod ends, which were completely knackered so i'm not too sure why they weren't picked up on in the MOT.
All in all it's cost me £45 for the original MOT, £45 for parts (downpipe, ball joint, track rod ends), £60 labour and then it will cost me another £45 to get an MOT on it now that i'm past the 10 day retest period. So all in all, pretty much £200 to get an MOT. That's the biggest MOT bill for any car i've had
