boost gauge fitting
« on: 08 October 2009, 19:44 »
well i am now the proud ower of a nice newsouth boost gauge , but i want to fit it in one of the central air vents ...just to be different .. any onr else got one there , are they a pig to fit there ? I've also got some nice blue silicone hose to use instead of the little plastic one you get with it ...thats ok isnt it ?

i was going to try and cut the vent to fit it in , but i've has a go and it dosent look right so now i might just get a piece of black plastic and blank off the vent but i am wondering how to get the pipes and wires out of the back of it ...any ideas ??

It's not quite the central air vent, but how about this:

when installing tinto a vent remember the depth of the gauge, the vent may not be deep enough. I know a driver side Bora vent is not big enough.

I think the middle one is going to be the same without some major cutting so i think i'll just have to get the credit card out and the one from awesome .....
