I just did a search on VOSA. I wasn't aware that you could view all old MOT's using their website until reading through this forum. Now realise that I should have just left well alone!

I bought the car using RAC's data check, because they are able to see if the cars registered stolen, all documentation for the vehicle is legit, mileage discrepancies.
Nothing untoward showed up, I even have the certificate saying no mileage discrepancy known according to the National Mileage Register.
Yet VOSA state otherwise. My cars odometer when I bought it was showing 71,000 its now showing 91,000 and yet according to the information supplied from VOSA its MOT in 2007 showed 138,000......So should now be reading close to 160,000 My cars covered almost double the mileage its showing. And yet the condition wouldn't state the obvious!
P*ss*d!

How has this gone unnoticed by RAC / National Mileage Register AND VOSA?
