The first part of mine is almost ready

Soldering it all together now and heat shrinking ready for tomorrow

Nice, but take my advice, make them a lot shorter, especially the ones in the trunk, there is not much space and they can rattle.

Good luck, Ron

^^^ Yep I have already as from when I installed an RVC I remember seeing that for it to work best it would need to be short

Like the coward I am, I decided to go for the genuine VW adapters. The wire between the clips is about 8cm long. Let us know how you get on with the coding.

that might be the cheapest way as the parts to make the adapters come to £45. Do you have the part numbers?

Might are here just finishing two other mods first then will be installing the LED's.

Part no. is 191 972 713 Got mine from Germany from this guy for £35 + postage: http://cgi.ebay.de/Adapter-LED-Heckleuchten-VW-Golf-6-VI-R-GTI_W0QQitemZ160398346282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item25587c882a

That part number is just for the connector housing for the pick-up of the power from the original lights and are a couple of quid each at the UK dealers.

It's the repair wires to go into the connectors on the LED lights that make the looms expensive

Anyway been a busy day for my Mk6 today.

Firstly had a new development Intake kit installed at ITG, then fitted the OSIR O-Shift DSG Paddles and then at last my Golf R LED tails.

Everything went 100% to plan and the coding was very very easy.

Here's a quick pic of mine are all in and working

And the coding was?

Big favour to ask but any chance of a photo of the brake lights on and the indicators on in daylight and the dark. Im wondering as the indicators are now much smaller how visable they are. (Thats one thing i hate about the mk5 golfs rear lights  )
