I got error messages when I tried putting LEDs in the front lights and the rear number plate, but all the interior lights were P&P (except, weirdly, the glovebox which required a new holder). I am assuming, perhaps wrongly, that the OBC is too lazy to monitor the puddle lights

Do you have any links to these bulbs?

Thanks!

Here's my DIY on the MkVI board: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=131188.0

It contains more or less all the information you need. It's really a very easy mod', you just pull the stock bulbs out and push the LEDs in. The overall effect is like this MkV:

I didnt think the mk5 came with puddle lights??

My Mk5 has puddle lights - but I had to spec them as an 'options pack' (can't remember which one though :embarassed:)

And they are 'kin good too. :afro:

the wing mirrors seem quite different from the mk6. Well done Frog!! you pick the one part that isnt the same
