Quick question - when retro fitting the RNS-510 where would you recommend for the GPS antenna?

under the front of the dash. mine seems to work fine there.

Nice one - is it accessible from behind where the RNS 510 will go - I don't fancy dismantling anything!

I had read that fitting guide which was actually what prompted me to post – I was unsure what kind of GPS reception you’d get by having it tucked in behind the radio like on that guide?

There can't be an awful lot of metal / shielding parts in the dash as I can happily sit my TomTom in the ashtray compartment and it hold the signal without a problem.

I fitted an RNS-510 earlier this week, seems great although haven't had much time to play with it yet.

Climatronic info displays on the screen Ok, I can control basic functions with the MFSW but my understanding was some basic navigational info should be displayed on the Highline, have I missed a setting or is it a VAG COM job?

Also how can I check firmware and maps versions?
