If R32UK doesn't want them, put me down as an interested party ££££ dependant.

The VW Racing / Racingline wheels look really good. Similar to Sportek wheels and I'm sure theyr'e very high quality. Although they are expensive they compare quite well price wise to VW accessory wheels bought through a dealer.

yes i will keep you i mind no probs,
they paint the wheels any colour you want before delivery,
I have gone for the gunmetal colour should look good against the red and a similar colour to whats on the front bumper etc ?
Also standard centre cap and wheels bolts fit aswell, so these wont be going with the Monzas.

Dont really know what sort of money they are worth ?

Having done a bit of research on the UK/French & German eBay sites when buying my Interlagos, I would say a set of Monza Shadows would probably go for between about £700 to £900.

Cheers Fro
Thats the sort of money i was thinking cos they are as new,

The £700-900 price estimate was based on a complete set of 4 wheels + 4 tyres with only a few hundred miles or so on them. The market value of wheels alone (i.e. no tyres) is considerably less, as most people don't want to bother with getting tyres fitted.

I'd pay £225 for one with tyre as one of mine has been kerbed.

As i said I have 3 BBS monzas II's 100% genuine. Have just checked with the gent I bought them off that they are from a mk5 and had the insides done in black (sho they look identical to the shadows).

I stuggled to tell... but i know you would rather know that, than not kow that. i can post pics if anyone is interested or wants a cheap replacement for a damaged wheel. they have a few minor marks on the laquer but no kerbing from what I remember.

As a slight aside, if you intend doing any track days at Nurburgring, then you need to check those wheels are TUV certified - i know racingline say they are made ina  TUV approved factory, but that doesn't mean the wheels themselves have been tested and certified.

Same applies for any aftermarket or replica wheels, bodykits, suspension etc - if they aren't TUV stamped then German police will issue a safety warning ticket.
