I guess I can get the wheel repaired, but having done that with under 1,000 miles on the clock and so easily too, I wonder if it's worth it or if I should just recover my relaxed attitude to the state of my alloys.
I did it on a rather high kerb outside the church, where the road has a deceptive curve to it. The thing is, I've done the same thing a dozen times with the Peugeot, and frankly a lot worse over the years. Yes, its alloys had scrapes on them, but they weren't that bad - even though I was completely careless about them. These Monzas seem very easy to damage, in comparison to the Peugeot's alloys.
If that's the situation, I'm thinking I might as well just get used to it, and be thankful I didn't shell out for the more expensive ones to wreck.
