Right, I have been thinking about it in the past, and it probably is a stupid idea and you will laugh, BUT, in theory, it SHOULD work.

I have an old vacuum cleaner motor along with it's switch and the cable. I have tested it and it works perfectly. Now my theory is, if you mount it on the air box, using a power converter (which I have, 12v-240v) to power it, and then run the switch in the cabin to turn it on/off, do you think it would make any difference? In theory it should, as it is filling the air box VERY quickly with nice air. Like an electric supercharger style.
