I did mine on Friday night at DH's place. Yours looks good, good job. Haven't driven it yet, but it had been started up. Idles like a bit of a pig and sticks at about 1300 revs a little bit when maneuvering. at full throttle though should be a right old laugh  :cool:

did you do the back?  its quite bumpy there got loads off.
Carbide burr's slice ali like butter took seconds done quite a few of these now, does help to be The Engineering manager  :grin:

Yeah back too. I used a hand file haha, took a while and gotta admit, idle is probably like it is due to the fact I got a bit too keen on some parts. If I had used a dremel then I would have had no probs at all.

Can't really see too well on those pics, but looks about the same as mine. Just like the inside of a bog roll, smooth with no humps  :smiley:

prob took too much off around butterfly if idling wierd, mine idles just as before i smoothed mine but throttle response is much better esp. from low revs.

Yeah that is the problem. It's because I used a hand file rather than a dremel.
