Depending on the year there might be some immobiliser coding to do, so you'll need your pin# and vagcom

Glad i could help mate. I was a little concerned that the immo dash light wasn't flashing, but as soon as i saw the dtc for engine start blocked i knew we were on to a winner

  I got concerned a few times but  in the end all was well. Hope you got home alright and in time mate

Will do dude. Managed to convince my mate to quit whinging and get the rtech remap. He will do at sometime around Christmas, I'll pop along with him in my car if I have money to spare, if not I'll jump in his car. I'll see you nevertheless
