Can anyone tell me how long it has taken from when they recieved a confirmed BW to actually recieving their car. My BW is wk 1 still uncomfirmed. Dont know how long i can hold on for. Its painfull, and the Sciroco R looks tempting as does the golf R although that would be streaching a bit. I ordered Aug 17th.

I got a build week of 43 (18th Oct) at docks on the 29th, shipped on Nov 5th, arrived stealer 10th, PDi 11th, on my drive 12th. Well worth the wait I kept chasing the dealer to PDi it as it came of the transporter and they turned it round quite quick. FYI I placed my order Sat 25th July and was quoted 8-10 weeks. Originally had BW 38, then 40 before I got 43.

Not sure how relevant this is, but on the Scirocco forums, they are also seeing delays, but I know they are built at different factories and countries I believe, but the delays are due to the supply of RCD510's and they are apparantly going to be fitting RNS310's as an alternative 'upgrade or downgrade' which ever way you look at it, to get the cars out to customers?

Could your Golf orders be hit by the same reason? Do you all have RCD510's too? I'm assumming they all come from the same supplier, if its a Rocco or Golf.
