Pop into my local stealers todays as I finish work slightly earlier at 6pm. The car look fabulous except the 17inch wheels and the rear tail pipes look a touch small. Otherwise, I do like the looks of my car!

I was a bit disppointed that they parked my car in an area which is quite busy with other customers (service, MOT, Just browsing) :angry: In my previous purchase with other manufacturer, all new cars are parked well away from everybody else. I definitely need to check the paintwork carefully this friday for parking dent!

Quick update. My car is now at the port in Germany and will be on the boat tomorrow (hopefully). This means I should have the beast within 2-3 weeks   :smiley:

When I picked up mine it was kept under a white car cover and was "unveiled" before me! Nice touch I thought :)

damn the BMW forums are lame. should be picking up my 58 plate (6k) 335d auto on monday, leather, xenons, sat nav for about the same price as a new high spec GTI.
i guess you can remove me (or put in the 2010 week 2 which caused me to cancel)
the vw stealer was not interested in lending me a car until the gti i was built

Hi

I'm new to this forum (which looks great btw). I placed my order (not GTi I'm afraid, but GT 160) 27th Aug and have just received confirmation of build week 16 Nov (week 47 I think).

Did someone mention a delivery checklist and can someone point me in the right direction if it exists please?
