Calling August orders

Had an email from my dealer today to say that my car's now 'locked for production, week 46' so it's come forward a week!!!

Maybe i should brave it and phone customer service on tueday when they update the system and see how mines doing as we were only 2 days apart on ordering

I ordered mine on 15th August (with ACC, xenons, 18" monzas', RCD 510 + dynoaudio, DAB, luxury pack & leather). Since then I've had a couple of calls from the dealer in St Albans (one two weeks ago and one yesterday) saying the same thing- "the car's still in production" even though I'm not quite sure what that means

I don't know what they meen either. Best bet if they phone you back again is ask for the VW commision number. That way you can phone someone at VW customer service for a true update.

That would make sense to me- thanks for the info. I guess the dealer just wanted to sugar coat their response a little ... Still it just makes my anticipation of the big day that little bit more
