mirror polishing

hi all, prob been covered but cant really find any descent linkes to what i need,

ok ive gone from this



to this



and i just need to find out what to get to finish them off by getting the mirror polish look?

ive used some autosol but doesnt really work!

Get a dremel or better still a variable (slow) speed electric drill and a flexable drive shaft and a polishing kit from frost online or from eBay. These include polishing mops and polishing compound. You will get a much better result than by hand, unless you want to be polishing untill christmas of course!

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

Polish in a figure of 8 rotating using finer compounds then buff with Autosol take care to keep coarse grades away and keep area clean, nothing worse than getting a mirror finish then buffing up to find a bit of grit on the cloth :angry:
I would then de grease and use a lacquer to protect Surface, Cast Ali has a Skin when it is gone you will find it corrodes very easily :smiley:

High gloss Clear lacquer.
