stupid question, but have you 'ticked' the box on the computer screen and set the lights for, say, 10 seconds?

I increased mine to 20sec and it still didnt work. You have to flash the lights twice i believe.

Does this mean they are then activated to stay on permanently??? I only tried the once :undecided:

Check the actual time they are supposed to be on for - should be in the convenience settings in the MFD

If it doesnt work then go to the dealer.

ok checked all this yesterday. Settings are all correct

Opened the car and the homecome lights came on

Locked the car but the lights didnt stay on :sad:

Talk about taking a simple thing and complicating it :sad:

Deactivating the daylight running lights - Page 62 Mk6 manual

Move the turn signal and main beam lever both down and to the rear (left-hand turn signal and headlight flash) at the same time and hold it in this position.

Turn the ignition on for 3 seconds and then switch it off again. The daylight running lights function is deactivated.
