As if to flash some one twice I think this 'manual flash method' might just be a way of over-riding the light sensor. They should still illuminate, when it's dark, without having to fiddle with anything!
So when you unlock your car when its dark, do the xennons automatically come on then, before you get in the car? That is one of best features the mk5 has, along with the coming home lights delay too?Why would they change that?Dave
Bumpy bump!Any updates on this issue? If a lot of you are still getting these probs, and you are 100% positive the the specific time delay is correctly set - then it looks like there could be a prob with the Convenience Control Module. Strike whilst the iron is still hot, and all that.

Strike whilst the iron is still hot, and all that. I'm sure they changed this from the Mk5 so that you had to manually to tell the car to leave the lights on when you had finished driving. Something to do with folk fed up with the scenario "Hey guv you've left your lights on". Now they can have the option of having the lights on or not.
